Luis reserved Capitol Hill Books, a place with lots of charm and history, after hours to propose to his girlfriend, Alyona. He set up candles (not to fret, they were all battery powered!) along with string lights and set up a small table with wine and charcuterie to toast. He even brought along their favorite books, The Alchemist and Another Roadside Attraction. He knew they both wanted a cozy and private moment for their engagement, so when a video I shared of their proposal went viral and was picked up by People Magazine online it came as quite a surprise to us all.
