Katia + Nick held an intimate ceremony in her family home backyard, nestled in the foothills of

Boulder, Colorado on a lovely July afternoon.

They self officiated with their nearest and dearest gathered around them under a covered tent.

They took the afternoon slow, Katia built her bouquet from flower starts that her father would later plant in his garden, we did a first look under a canopy of trees on a hiking trail behind the home.

Later we hiked up that same trail to have a champagne toast overlooking the city.

The evening finished off with a catered dinner in the backyard where the wine and conversation flowed

freely and the cake was as sweet as can be.
